At 3 pm at the Presbyterian Church of the ’49ers the Mother Lode Woodwind Quintet will perform. Proving once again that The Mother Lode has talent, this quintet, gathering artists from Calaveras, Tuolumne and Amador Counties, will perform compositions reflecting various periods by composers around the world. The program will include “Roaring Fork” by American composer, Eric Ewazen, “Aires Tropicales” by Cuban-American clarinetist, Paquito d’Rivera, and the American Folk Song “Shenandoah”.
