RIM Fire Relief

Best Western PLUS Sonora Oaks Hotel and Conference Center
A night of fun in support of those effected by RIM Fire. Appitzers and drinks, raffle and prizes, all proceeds go to the Sonora Area Foundation for emergency services. $15 a ticket.

31st Annual Fiddle and Bango Contest
October 5th 2013

Columbia Historic Park
(Yes, Bango – not Banjo!) Singers, songwriters and musicians perform for prizes. Sign-ups will begin at 9 am and space is limited. Categories are Guitar, Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Vocal and Miscellaneous. Entry fee is $12. This is an open contest and professionals, amateurs, adults and children will all compete against each other. Free to public, but bring a lawn chair. Now includes a Chili Cook-off! Entry fee is $20 and fee to taste is $5
